Mentorship Built for Future Scientists and Doctors
Bio:Logic offers bioscience-forward mentorship for students pursuing advanced pathways in research and medicine.
The Issue Isn’t Ability. It’s the Approach.
Through the Bio:Logic Approach™, students develop scientific reasoning, intellectual independence, and the adaptive thinking increasingly needed in modern science and medicine.
Learn. Discover. Transform.
AP Biology Mentorship Program
with Dr. Tobi Schmidt
Hard work in biology doesn’t always lead to success
AP Biology is often the first course where motivated students discover that memorization is not enough. Success requires reasoning, pattern recognition, data analysis, and the ability to explain biological systems clearly.
The Bio:Logic AP Biology Mentorship Program helps students align effort with the way biology actually works. Through personalized mentorship, dynamic conversation, and the Bio:Logic Learning H.U.B.™, students build conceptual understanding, scientific reasoning, and the confidence to succeed in AP Biology and beyond.
Advanced Research Mentorship Program
with Dr. Tobi Schmidt
Applying Biology Beyond the Classroom Is Challenging
Many students are interested in research, science fairs, or publication opportunities, but they do not yet know how to turn curiosity into a meaningful scientific question or a feasible project.
The Advanced Research Mentorship Program helps students develop research direction, evaluate ideas, interpret scientific literature, design stronger projects, and communicate their work clearly. Through Bio:Logic mentorship and the Learning H.U.B.™, students begin moving from learning biology to thinking like emerging scientists.
Independent Scholar
Mentorship Program
with Dr. Tobi Schmidt
Bright, curious students often outgrow what school can offer
Some students need more than another class, worksheet, or standard curriculum. They need space for deeper questions, advanced conversation, and intellectual guidance that meets the way they actually think.
The Independent Scholar Mentorship Program supports students whose curiosity, intensity, or learning profile does not fit neatly inside traditional academic structures. Through personalized mentorship and the Bio:Logic Approach™, students pursue deeper understanding, build confidence, and develop the habits of thought that support long-term growth in science and beyond.
Tobi Schmidt, Ph.D.
Dr. Tobi Schmidt is a Stanford-trained biologist and founder of Bio:Logic, a mentorship-driven learning platform for students pursuing advanced pathways in the biosciences and medicine.
With over two decades of experience in biology education, research, and scientific mentorship, Dr. Tobi has taught students ranging from foundational biology through advanced scientific inquiry. She has designed and taught biological sciences courses for the Stanford School of Medicine, Stanford Pre-Collegiate Studies, Stanford Continuing Studies, and the California College of the Arts.
Known for her highly personalized and intellectually dynamic mentorship style, Dr. Tobi helps students move beyond memorization to develop scientific reasoning, intellectual independence, and deeper conceptual understanding. Her work is especially effective for motivated, advanced, twice-exceptional (2e), and neurodivergent learners who often need a more adaptive and individualized approach to learning.
Through Bio:Logic, students are guided to think critically, communicate scientifically, and approach biology the way real scientists do — through reasoning, inquiry, and the ability to connect ideas across systems and disciplines.
